Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?

Donnie: Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit?
Frank: Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?

Donnie: How can you do that?
Frank: I can do anything I want. And so can you.

Donnie: Where did you come from?
Frank: Do you believe in time travel?

Faubourg Saint-Denis

Thomas Listen. Listen. There are times when life calls out for a change. A transition. Like the seasons. Our spring was wonderful, but summer is over now and we missed out on autumn. And now all of a sudden, it's cold, so cold that everything is freezing over. Our love fell asleep, and the snow took it by surprise. But if you fall asleep in the snow, you don't feel death coming. Take care.

Francine: "Let me out. Please! Bruno? Bruno you bastard! Bruno, i'm dying here! Please Bruno! Bruno Please! I can't take it anymore!"
Thomas: Hello!
Francine: "Why can't anybody hear me!"
Thomas: I hear you! Who is Bruno?
Francine: I'm rehearsing, can't you see?
Thomas: Umm no, sorry.
Francine: No, no, i'm sorry.
Thomas: You are an actress?
Francine: Trying to be... I've and audition today
Thomas: At the conservatoire?
Francine: Yeah.
Thomas: What kind of scene was that?
Francine: It's... it's from this pretty bad movie i was in once. It's my only one so far but... i'm this prostitute who gets beat and raped by her pimp and then he locks her in this dark cell all day long and she goes nuts, but at the end they still get married.
Thomas: a pimp and a prostitute?
Francine: (Sounds a bell) Shit! it's ten?
Thomas: So?
Francine: I have to be there at ten.
Thomas: I know a shortcut, come on!
Francine: Wait! Wait!
Thomas: This way.
Francine: Are you sure?
Thomas: Straight!
Francine: That was fast. Thanks!
Thomas: Bonne chance.

Pardonne moi Francine.

Thomas: Oui?
Francine: Hey what happened? You're gone all of a sudden. You hung up? Was it that bad? Thomas, are you still mad about yesterday?
Thomas: Non...
Francine: Tell me, was it believable?... I see, shit! It doesn't work like that huh? How are you supposed to say: "our spring was wonderful; but summer's over" without sounding completely melodramatic? Ughh Whatever! The director loved it, so i have to find a way. Thomas, are you listening to me?
Thomas: No, I see you.

Audrey Hepburn

I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness, For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people, For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry, For Beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day, For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

Your heart just breaks, that's all. But you can't judge, or point fingers. You just have to be lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you.

The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

You can always tell what kind of a person a man really thinks you are by the earrings he gives you.

I don't want to be alone, I want to be left alone.

If I get married, I want to be very married.

Let me tell you something, Mister. If I had her money, I'd be richer than she is.

I was asked to act when I couldn't act. I was asked to sing 'Funny Face' when I couldn't sing, and dance with Fred Astaire when I couldn't dance - and do all kinds of things I wasn't prepared for. Then I tried like mad to cope with it.

I never think of myself as an icon. What is in other people's minds is not in my mind. I just do my thing.

If I blow my nose, it gets written all over the world.

Paris is always a good idea.

Pick the day. Enjoy it - to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come... The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present - and I don't want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.

I decided, very early on, just to accept life unconditionally; I never expected it to do anything special for me, yet I seemed to accomplish far more than I had ever hoped. Most of the time it just happened to me without my ever seeking it.

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

My own life has been much more than a fairy tale. I`ve had my share of difficult moments, but whatever difficulties I`ve gone through, I`ve always gotten a prize at the end.

For me, the only things of interest are those linked to the heart.

I know I have more sex appeal on the tip of my nose than many women in their entire bodies. It doesn`t stand out a mile, but it`s there.

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!

The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.

Living is like tearing through a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book, and remembering - because you can't take it in all at once.

There is more to sex appeal than just measurements. I don't need a bedroom to prove my womanliness. I can convey just as much sex appeal, picking apples off a tree or standing in the rain.

You can tell more about a person by what he says about others than you can by what others say about him.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a Woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.

I've been lucky. Opportunities don't often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them.

Why change? Everyone has his own style. When you have found it, you should stick to it.

Everything I learned I learned from the movies.

I don’t take my life seriously, but I do take what I do – in my life – seriously.

If my world were to cave in tomorrow, I would look back on all the pleasures, excitements and worthwhilenesses I have been lucky enough to have had. Not the sadness, not my miscarriages or my father leaving home, but the joy of everything else. It will have been enough.

I have learnt how to live…how to be in the world and off the world, and not just to stand aside and watch.

There must be something wrong with those people who think Audrey Hepburn doesn’t perspire, hiccup or sneeze, because they know that’s not true. I n fact, I hiccup more than most.

On the one hand maybe I’ve remained infantile, while on the other I matured quickly, because at a young age I was very aware of suffering and fear.

It means your heart's too big

Sometimes we love people so much that we have to be numb to it. Because if we actually felt how much we love them, it would kill us. That doesn't make you a bad person. It just means your heart's too big.

Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) Penny Marshall

This is a story of boy meets girl

This is a story of boy meets girl.
The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he'd never truly be happy until the day he met his... "soulmate." This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total misreading of the movie, "The Graduate."

The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parents' marriage, she'd only loved two things. The first was her long blonde hair. he second was how easily she could cut it off... And feel nothing.

Tom meets Summer on January 8th in a San Francisco office building. In an instant, he will know she's the one he's been looking for.
This is a story of boy meets girl. But before they do, you should know up front, this is not a love story.

Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, far from my job and everyone I know, a feeling came over me.It was like remembering something I'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but I didn't know what. Maybe it was something I'd forgotten or something I've been missing all my life.
All I can say is that I felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because I felt alive. Yes, alive.
That was the moment I fell in love with Paris. And I felt Paris fall in love with me.

Mary: My name is Mary Lennox. I was born in India. It was hot, and strange, and lonely in India. I didn't like it. Nobody by my servant, my ayah, looked after me. My parents didn't want me. My mother cared only to go to parties. And my father was busy with his military duties. I was never allowed to go to the parties. I watched them from my mother's bedroom window. I was angry, but I never cried. I didn't know how to cry.

Colin: Hair is dead.
Mary: If it's dead, why does it keep growing all the time, even after you're dead? Well, maybe not your hair. You'll probably be bald.
Colin: Don't be daft. I'll die before I'm ever old enough to go bald.
Mary: I hate the way you talk about dying.
Colin: Everyone thinks I'm going to die.
Mary: If everyone thought that about me, I still wouldn't do it.

Mary: You don't know anything about anything; none of you - nothing!

Colin: Are you making this magic?
Mary: No, you are.
Colin: Just like in the story. It's like the whole universe is in here.
Mary: I'm certain it is.
Colin: That means I could marry you.
Mary: What? But we're cousins!
Colin: I don't care. I want us always to be together.
Mary: We are together.

Lord Craven: You brought us back to life, Mary. You did something I thought no one could do.

Colin: See, that's a picture of my mother.
Mary: Why do you keep it covered up?
Colin: My father doesn't like to see it. I don't look like her at all. But you, you look like her. She smiles too much.
Mary: Smiles too much? How can a person smile too much?
Colin: Sometimes I hate her. She died when I was born.
Mary: But I thought she died falling off the swing in her garden.
Colin: Her garden? What garden?
Mary: Oh, just a garden.

Colin: I'm going to die.
Mary: From what?
Colin: Everything.

Mary: Oh, stop it! I hate you! Everybody hates you! You're so selfish. You the most selfish boy there ever was!
Colin: I'm not as selfish as you are! Just because I'm always ill!
Mary: No on ill could scream like that!
Colin: I'm going to die!
Mary: What would you know about dying?
Colin: My mother died!
Mary: Both my parents died!

He dies...

When King Lear dies in Act V, do you know what Shakespeare has written? He's written "He dies." That's all, nothing more. No fanfare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words. The culmination of the most influential work of dramatic literature is "He dies." It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up with "He dies." And yet every time I read those two words, I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria. And I know it's only natural to be sad, but not because of the words "He dies." but because of the life we saw prior to the words.

Miss Bennet & Mr. Darcy ♥

You must know... surely, you must know it was all for you. You are too generous to trifle with me. I believe you spoke with my aunt last night, and it has taught me to hope as I'd scarcely allowed myself before. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.

Permanece a mi lado...
