Are you a vampire?

Oskar: Are you a vampire?
Eli: I live off blood... Yes.
Oskar: Are you...dead?
Eli: No. Can't you tell?
 Oskar: But... are you old?
Eli: I'm twelve. But I've been twelve for a long time.

Please... be me, for a little while.

Oskar: Who are you?
 Eli: I'm like you.
 Oskar: What do you mean?
Eli: What are you staring at? Well? Are you looking at me? So scream! Squeal! Those were the first words I heard you say.
  Oskar: I don't kill people.
Eli: But you'd like to, if you could... to get revenge. Right?
Oskar: Yes.
Eli: I do it because I have to. Be me, for a little while. Please... be me, for a little while.

To flee is life.

To flee is life, to linger death.

Then we'll go steady. It'll be you and me.

Eli: Oskar! May I come in? Don't look at me. But you have to say that I can come in.
Oskar: You can come in...
Eli: Close your eyes.
Oskar: How did you get in?
Eli: I flew.
Oskar: Yeah, sure... You're not wearing anything. You're as cold as ice.
Eli: Sorry... is that gross?
Oskar: No...
Eli: Higgledy-piggledy shout. How many fingers are out?
Oskar: Eli... want to go steady?
Eli: What do you mean?
Oskar: Well... do you want to be my girlfriend?
Eli: Oskar... I'm not a girl.
Oskar: Oh... but do you want to go steady or not?
Eli: Couldn't we just keep things the way they are?
Oskar: I guess...
Eli: Do you do anything special when you go steady?
Oskar: No.
Eli: So everything's the same?
Oskar: Yes.
Eli: Then we'll go steady. It'll be you and me.
Oskar: Really? Good.

Do you like me?

Eli: Oskar... Do you like me?
Oskar: Yeah, a lot.
Eli: If I wasn't a girl... would you like me anyway?
Oskar: I suppose so.

Querido ángel, Violeta va hacia a ti ahora.

How old are you?

Oskar: How did you do it?
Eli: I just twisted it. Do I smell better now?
Oskar: Um, what's your name?
Eli: Eli. What's yours?
Oskar: I'm Oskar. How old are you?
Eli: Twelve... more or less. What about you?
Oskar: Twelve years, eight months and nine days. What do you mean, "more or less"? When's your birthday?
Eli: I don't know.
Oskar: Don't you celebrate your birthday? Your parents... they've got to know. Then you don't get any birthday presents, do you?
Eli: No.

LEON: The Professional Artwork

People have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams.

G’mork:
If you come any closer I will rip you to shreds.

Atreyu:
Who are you?

G’mork:
I am G'mork. And you, whoever you are, can have the honor of being my last victim.

Atreyu:
I will not die easily. I am a warrior.

G’mork:
Brave warrior, then fight the nothing.

Atreyu:
But I can't ! I can't get beyond the boundaries of Fantasia. What's so funny about that?

G’mork:
Fantasia has no boundaries.

Atreyu:
That's not true. You're lying.

G’mork:
Foolish boy. Don't you know anything about Fantasia?
It's the world of human fantasy. Every part ,every
creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind.
Therefor, it has no boundaries.

Atreyu:
But why is Fantasia dying then?

G’mork:
Because people have begun to loose their hopes
and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger.

Atreyu:
What is the nothing?!

G’mork:
It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair,
destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.

Atreyu:
But why ?

G’mork:
Because people who have no hopes are easy to control.
And whoever has control has the power.

I wanna kill those sons of bitches

Léon: Revenge is not a good thing, it's better to forget.

Mathilda: Forget? After I've seen the outline of my brother's body on the floor, you expect me to forget?
I wanna kill those sons of bitches, and blow their fucking heads off!

Leon: The Professional (1994) by Luc Besson

I think I'm kinda falling in love with you.

Mathilda: Leon, I think I'm kinda falling in love with you. It's the first time for me, you know?

Léon: How do you know it's love if you've never been in love before?

Mathilda: 'Cause I feel it.

Léon: Where?

Mathilda: In my stomach. It's all warm. I always had a knot there and now... it's gone.

Léon: Mathilda, I'm glad you don't have a stomach ache any more. I don't think it means anything.

She is my match in every way.

Henry: Hello!

Danielle: Hello. What are you doing here?

Henry: I emm… I came to rescue you.

Danielle: Rescue me? A commoner?

Henry: Actually, I came to beg you forgiveness. I offered you the world, and at the first test of honor I betrayed your trust. Please, Danielle.

Danielle: Say it again.

Henry: I’m sorry.

Danielle: No. The part where you said my name.

Henry: Danielle. Perhaps you would be so kind as to help me find the owner of this rather remarkable shoe?

Danielle: Where did you find that?

Henry: She is my match in every way. Please tell me I haven’t lost her.

Danielle: It belongs to a peasant, Your Highness, who only pretended to be a courtier to save a man’s life.

Henry: Yes, I know. And the name’s Henry, if you don’t mind. I kneel before you not as a prince, but as a man in love. But I would feel like a king if you, Danielle de Barbarac, would be my wife.

Lacuna Inc.

When you really connect with a person’s inner self

When you start to know someone, all their physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in their energy, recognize the scent of their skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and your body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant.
